Imagine That World of Play

Honestly, Imagine That is a decent spot for the kids to burn off energy, but I have mixed feelings about the health side of things. Since it's a huge open play space with a bounce house and climbing structures, it can get pretty chaotic. They say cleanliness is a priority, and you see them wiping things down, but with that many kids running around in socks and touching everything, it's basically a giant petri dish. I've had to pull my little one a few times after a visit because of a lingering sniffle or a stomach bug that seemed to be going around the neighborhood. It’s a great venue for a party, but for daily care or frequent visits, I wish they were a bit more strict on their sick-child policy. Sometimes you see kids who clearly have a 'daycare cold' just coughing all over the soft play equipment. It’s average—fun for the kids, but definitely keep your hand sanitizer ready.

My little one has been at Imagine That for almost a year now and I’m pretty happy with how they handle the germs. It’s a daycare, so kids are definitely going to get the sniffles, but the staff is really on top of wiping down the toys and the play area looks super clean when I drop off in the mornings. They’re pretty strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule which can be a pain for working parents, but honestly, it keeps the classroom outbreaks way down. My only minor gripe is sometimes the communication about a kid being sick in the class comes a bit late in the afternoon, but overall it’s a solid, healthy spot for the kids.
