Early Start Daycare Center

To be honest, I’ve had some real concerns about the environment at Early Start lately. The Austin location is convenient, but the facility feels really cramped and the cleanliness isn't always where it should be for a daycare. It feels like my little one is coming home with a new bug every single week, and I rarely get a heads-up from the staff about what’s going around the classroom. Communication on sick policies is super vague, and I've seen kids dropped off with clear fevers without much pushback from the front desk. With how many kids they have packed in there, it just feels like a germ factory and they aren't doing enough deep cleaning to keep up.

I’ve had my daughter at Early Start for a few months now and I’m pretty happy with the health side of things. The place looks and smells clean whenever I drop her off, which is a big relief considering how much stuff goes around in daycares. They’re super strict about the 'no fever for 24 hours' rule—it can be a pain when you have to miss work, but it definitely keeps the whole class from getting wiped out at once. My only small gripe is that the communication about which specific bugs are going around could be a little faster, but the staff is really caring and they always make sure the kids are washing their hands and staying hydrated.
