  • Honestly, I have really mixed feelings about this place. While the staff seems like they genuinely care about the families, the facility itself feels pretty worn down and I'm not convinced they're keeping up with deep cleaning. Since they handle so many different programs—like seniors and workforce training—alongside the daycare, it feels like the resources are stretched way too thin. My little one seems to bring home every single bug that goes around, and I don't always get a heads-up when there's been an illness in the classroom. Communication is just really messy right now.

  • Honestly, the staff at Centers for New Horizons does a solid job keeping up with all the kiddos. The building on Ingleside is always clean when I drop off my daughter, and they aren't playing around when it comes to the sick policy—if a kid has a fever, they are calling you right away to come get them. It's a bit of a pain if you're at work, but it definitely keeps the flu from spreading through the whole classroom. I also love that they focus on the whole family's well-being and not just childcare; it feels like they actually care about the community vibe. My only grip is that communication about minor sniffles can be a little slow sometimes, but overall I feel good about sending her there.
