  • Honestly, as a germaphobe parent, I’ve been so relieved with how Lakeshore East handles things. The facility is super clean and you can tell they actually stay on top of the sanitizing schedules, which is a big deal when you have toddlers running around sharing everything. Communication is also great—if there's a bug going around, they let us know right away so we aren't flying blind. It's such a relief to not have that constant cycle of back-to-back colds like we had at our last place. The staff seems really on it with health protocols and keeping the environment safe.

  • So far, our experience with the health side of things at Lakeshore East has been pretty solid. The place always feels super clean when I drop off my daughter, and they're really strict about the '24-hour fever-free' rule, which is a bit of a pain for working parents but honestly keeps the revolving door of germs at a minimum. They use an app to send out notifications if there's a confirmed case of something like HFM or strep in the classroom, so we aren't flying blind. My only real gripe is that communication can be a little slow if they just think your kid is 'acting off' but doesn't have a fever yet, but overall I feel like she's in a safe, healthy environment.
