Rainbow Kids Daycare

Honestly, I’m pretty frustrated with the situation at Rainbow Kids. It feels like my toddler is home sick more often than they are actually there, and I’m not the only parent saying it. The communication when there’s a bug going around the classroom is super spotty—I usually find out from another mom in the parking lot rather than the staff. It’s a smaller facility, but it often feels a bit cramped and messy when I drop off, which makes me wonder how often the toys and surfaces are actually getting deep-cleaned. For the price we pay, I expected a lot more focus on hygiene and a stricter policy on keeping sick kids home. Right now, it feels like a constant cycle of colds and stomach bugs.

Honestly, the health protocols at Rainbow Kids have been a huge relief for me. They have these super clear handwashing and cleaning procedures posted everywhere, and you can tell the staff actually follows them because my little one hasn't caught half the bugs going around other centers in Springfield. The director is really on top of things and actually cares about the kids being healthy, not just filling seats. Only downside is the staff seems a bit stretched thin sometimes with their long shifts, so I worry about them getting burnt out, but overall the environment stays really clean and the sick-child policy is actually enforced like it should be.
