To be honest, I’ve been pretty frustrated with the health situation at Little Scholars lately. It feels like every other week there’s a new bug going around the classroom and the 'sick policy' is basically nonexistent—I've seen kids dropped off with clear fevers and green runny noses and nobody says a word. Communication is really hit or miss too; we usually don't find out about a Hand, Foot, and Mouth outbreak until half the class is already out. Also, the facility is starting to look a little 'well-loved,' and not in a good way—it doesn't always smell the cleanest when I walk in for pickup. It’s hard to feel great about the wellness culture when it feels like they’re just trying to keep their heads above water with staffing.
