  • Ardmore Elementary in Addison, IL, does a commendable job on health and safety. The school generally appears clean, and I appreciate the visible efforts to maintain hygiene, especially in common areas. Communication regarding illnesses within the school is fairly prompt and informative, which helps us make decisions for our own children. The sick-policy enforcement seems consistent; I haven't heard of many instances where clearly ill children were allowed to remain, which is reassuring. The staff, particularly the front office and nursing team, are responsive to health-related inquiries and concerns, always ready to assist or provide clarification. Overall, I feel confident in the school's health protocols.

  • Ardmore Elementary does a good job overall with health. The school generally appears clean, and we haven't encountered issues with sanitation in classrooms or common areas. Communication regarding widespread illnesses like flu or strep throat could be a little more proactive; sometimes it feels like we hear about it after many kids are already out. The sick policy seems to be enforced reasonably well; we haven't seen obviously sick children in class. Staff, especially the nurse, is responsive to health concerns and communicates effectively if a child needs to go home. We appreciate their attention to detail when our child had a minor allergy incident.
