  • Banner Day Camp generally does a good job with health and safety. The facilities always appear clean, from the restrooms to the common areas. I appreciate their efforts to keep things tidy, especially given the number of children. Illness communication is decent; they send out alerts for common issues like lice or strep, which is helpful for awareness. Their sick policy, while seemingly strict on paper, sometimes feels inconsistently enforced. There have been a few instances where kids who clearly seemed unwell were still at camp, which makes me a bit nervous about germ spread. I'd like to see more rigorous enforcement there. Staff responsiveness to health concerns is generally good; if my child has a minor scrape or isn't feeling well, I usually get a call or a note. Overall, a solid experience, but tighter sick policy enforcement would make it excellent.
