How it works
Parent-powered. Privacy-first.
Here's the full picture, from a 20-second report to a real-time radar your whole community can use.
- 01
Parents report
A parent taps a symptom, picks their child's school or zipcode, and they're done. No names, no exact addresses, no logins required to contribute.
- 02
Ickly aggregates
We bucket reports by school, neighborhood, and city. Counts are shown in ranges (<5, 5-10, 10+) so individual families can never be identified.
- 03
Trends emerge
When symptoms spike in a school or zipcode, the map lights up and follows turn into alerts.
- 04
The community benefits
Parents get a heads up, schools communicate earlier, and clinics and researchers see signal that was previously invisible.
A note on privacy
Ickly never stores names, exact addresses, or identifiable child profiles. All counts are reported in ranges. Data shared with partners is anonymized and governed by signed data use agreements.
