Washington Elementary School

My kid has been at Washington for a couple of years now and honestly, I’ve been really impressed with their focus on health. They actually have a pretty strict 'healthy food only' policy for class parties and birthdays, which was a bit of an adjustment at first, but it’s nice not having them come home sugar-crashing every other week. The school recently went through some big renovations too, so the building feels much fresher and cleaner than some of the other older schools in the area. Communication about when bugs are going around is usually pretty quick, and the nurse has been super helpful whenever we’ve had to deal with the usual elementary school sniffles.
