  • I've had my little one at ILearn on Grand for a few months now and it's been okay, but mostly just average. The facility itself usually looks pretty scrubbed down and clean when I do drop-offs, which is a relief since daycare germs are basically a full-time job. They are pretty strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule, which can be a giant pain for working parents, but I guess it keeps the whole class from getting taken out at once. My biggest gripe is the communication; sometimes I feel like I don't get a heads-up about a kid having HFM or a stomach bug until after my daughter is already showing symptoms. It's a standard city daycare—nothing fancy in terms of wellness programs, but they get the basic hygiene jobs done.

  • As a parent at ILearn Center of Grand in West Town, I’ve felt really confident about my child’s health and day‑to‑day care in this licensed center on West Grand Avenue. The building is bright, clean, and well-organized, and staff are diligent about handwashing, sanitizing toys and surfaces, and sending kids home quickly when they show signs of fever or stomach bugs. My child has picked up the usual daycare colds, but the overall illness load has felt manageable, and we get clear communication whenever something is going around the classroom. The teachers balance health and learning nicely: they run a structured, play-based curriculum with lots of movement, music, and arts, which keeps kids active without feeling chaotic. I also appreciate that they serve thoughtful meals and snacks and are responsive to allergy needs and parent requests. Drop‑off feels safe and secure, staff know the kids and families by name, and my child is excited to go each morning, which, to me, is a great sign that they feel cared for physically and emotionally.
