  • To be honest, I’m pretty frustrated with the health situation at this Dearborn location. Since it's right in the Loop, everything feels so cramped and the turnover with the staff makes it impossible to get consistent updates when a bug is going around the classroom. It feels like every other week I’m getting a notice that my kid is sick, and I've noticed the cleaning standards seem to have slipped lately. For the price we pay in the city, I expected way better communication about illnesses. It feels more like a corporate backup care center than a nursery that actually prioritizes wellness—just a lot of kids in a tight space sharing germs.

  • Honestly, I’ve been pretty impressed with how the Loop Bright Horizons handles all the city germs. Since it's right downtown, I was worried about sickness spreading fast, but they are super on top of cleaning the toys and the common areas. They strictly follow the fever-free policy which can be a headache when you're trying to get to work, but it definitely keeps the 'classroom plague' to a minimum. My only gripe is that communication about minor sniffles in the room can be a little slow sometimes, but for a busy daycare center, they do a solid job keeping the kids healthy and well-fed with decent snacks.
